Our Mérdia Collection

Clay was the first element that human beings used to create objects, and since then, hundreds of cultures, peoples and traditions have made use of a material as common as the earth we walk on to create all kinds of utensils.

This collection was made in collaboration with the workshop Terracota Mérida, with whom we have worked hand in hand to create a set of four plates of organic shapes and textures that, stripped of artifice and created without a potter’s wheel, only with the hands of the potter, connect us withthose who were here before us.

This collection of ceramics pays tribute to those millenary cultures that worked the clay with the same techniques as today, and the city chosen for its creation could not be other than Merida, Roman city par excellence and paradise for archaeologists who, from their sites, tell us about who we were and trace our own history.
