Ceramics from mérida
Made in Mérida, Spain’s Roman city, this collection looks back to a ceramic language rooted in antiquity, when clay was one of the essential materials used to shape objects for daily life.
Together with the artisans at Terracota Mérida, each piece is shaped by hand without a wheel, preserving an ancient way of working and recovering forms inspired by those found beneath the Roman city. We bring this technique into the present through organic silhouettes, reinforced bodies, bold blocks of colour and a fully matte finish with a more tactile, contemporary feel.
