Glass from Mallorca
The Romans introduced glassblowing across the Mediterranean, giving rise to renowned centres of craftsmanship from Murano to Mallorca. Over time, Mallorca established its own identity and earned international recognition for its blown glass.
As the industry declined, many workshops disappeared. Today, only a handful of professional furnaces remain active. Among them is the workshop Casa Maricruz collaborates with, where the same glassblowing tradition continues to be practised by hand, piece by piece.
Spanish craft, reimagined for today
Building on Mallorca’s glassmaking heritage, we expanded its traditional language through contemporary design, creating new silhouettes, new volumes and new colour stories.
Working with recycled glass and mineral pigments, we developed pieces that capture the island’s distinctive light and transform it into colour, texture and reflection.
Designed to be used and enjoyed every day, these are objects made to stay with you for a lifetime before being passed on to the next generation.
