A wider table runner with sculptural presence, designed to cover more of the table surface and to let the Ikat pattern breathe. Ideal for smaller round tables, as a centerpiece strip under serving platters, or layered over a plain tablecloth to add depth and color.
Woven by hand in Mallorca using the Ikat technique, also known as 'roba de llengües,' after the tongue-like patterns the threads create on the loom. This ancient method reached the island in the 15th century through the Silk Road and has been kept alive by a handful of family workshops ever since.
