Woven by hand in Mallorca using the Ikat technique — also known as 'roba de llengües,' after the tongue-like patterns the threads create on the loom. This ancient method reached the island in the 15th century through the Silk Road and has been kept alive by a handful of family workshops ever since.

If you want to add some extra joy to your Mallorcan table linens, you can preorder your piece with Galician handmade bobbin lace. Allow 5 to 10 labor days for weaving, on top of regular shipping times.

Every single piece is handmade, so dimensions, color intensity, and the position of the pattern may vary. These variations are the signature of the Ikat technique and part of its natural character.
