Painting Vases for Mother’s Day in Spain
Spanish craftsmanship, handmade in Spain, artisanal home decor, traditional Spanish ceramics, handcrafted glassware, carved wood objects, natural linen textiles, Spanish design, heritage craftsmanship, sustainable materials, timeless design

We did a workshop with Romualda at the studio of Cristina Aguirre — the artist and mind behind the brand’s patterns and art direction.

The idea was simple: take the mistaken vase — the one from the batch we got wrong months ago — and make ten versions of it.

Brushes, pigments, merienda, and a table full of friends!

The result? Ten completely different vases that reminded us of those handmade gifts we used to bring home from school — pasta necklaces, shell frames, you know the kind — only this time with clay, colour, and a bit more taste 🤭
Brushes, pigments, merienda, and a table full of friends!

There were no guidelines, no palette — just brushes, pigment, mimosas and some very concentrated painting mixed with some very un-concentrated conversation.

It felt like a grown-up version of those school gifts we used to craft for our mums, except now with more intention, more pigment, and fewer sequins ;)
